In a congratulatory message personally signed and released to mark the milestone, Akpabio commended Governor Eno’s leadership style and the growing impact of his administration’s ARISE Agenda, noting that it has evolved from a policy vision into measurable progress across critical sectors.

“Your Excellency and my brother, Pastor Umo Eno, on behalf of my family, the good people of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, the 10th Senate, and indeed the National Assembly, I extend my warmest felicitations to you on this joyous occasion of your 62nd birthday,” Akpabio stated.

He noted that at 62, the governor exemplifies “the grace of God and the quiet strength of purposeful leadership,” stressing that his administration has delivered tangible dividends of democracy in agriculture, rural development, infrastructure, security, and social empowerment.

Akpabio particularly lauded Governor Eno’s inclusive approach to governance, describing it as a stabilising force in the state’s political landscape.

“By fostering an open and broad-based administration that accommodates all Akwa Ibomites, irrespective of political affiliation or creed, you have significantly lowered political tensions and strengthened unity. This is true statesmanship, laying a solid foundation for peace, progress, and sustainable development,” he said.

The Senate President further acknowledged ongoing improvements in infrastructure, healthcare, support for small and medium enterprises, and human capital development under the governor’s leadership, noting that these efforts are positioning the state for long-term growth.
“As you mark this new age,

I pray that Almighty God grants you greater wisdom, sound health, and enduring strength to continue serving our dear state and nation. May your years be long, and may Akwa Ibom continue to rise under your leadership,” Akpabio added.
Governor Eno clocks 62 amid widespread commendations for his governance style and commitment to people-centred development in Akwa Ibom State.
