ABUJA , Senate President Godswill Akpabio has expressed confidence in Nigeria’s ability to overcome its current socio-economic challenges and fulfill its potential as a nation.
Akpabio made the remarks on Sunday while representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at a special interdenominational service held at the National Christian Ecumenical Centre, Abuja. The service was part of activities marking Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.
Speaking at the event, Akpabio emphasized the resilience of the Nigerian people and called for unity, faith, and collective effort to build a stronger nation.
“We may be facing tough times, but I believe that with faith, dedication, and national unity, Nigeria will rise above its present difficulties and emerge stronger,” he said.
The service brought together leaders from various denominations and government officials in a show of solidarity and prayer for the nation’s progress.
