The National Coordinator of Team Akpabio for Tinubu (TAT), Hon. Felix Ngutswen, has declared that the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Senate President Godswill Akpabio in 2027 remains the best option for Nigeria’s progress.

Ngutswen, in a statement issued on Wednesday through his media aide, Mr. Idorenyin Umoren, urged Nigerians to rally behind President Tinubu, Senator Akpabio, and progressive governors, stressing that their leadership represents unity, stability, and continuity.

He dismissed opposition calls from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Nigerians to reject All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in 2027, describing such appeals as “politically motivated distractions.”

Commending Senator Akpabio for his “sterling leadership” of the 10th Senate, Ngutswen highlighted President Tinubu’s ongoing reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidy, tax restructuring, and the establishment of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

“Every Nigerian child today is guaranteed a tertiary education courtesy of NELFUND. With the new tax laws, President Tinubu has ushered in an era of economic justice built on fairness, accountability, and national purpose,” he said.

While admitting that the reforms have imposed hardship, Ngutswen appealed for patience, insisting that “fixing what has long been broken imposes costs, entails sacrifice, and takes time.”

He reiterated that Team Akpabio for Tinubu would continue to mobilize support across the country to ensure the duo’s re-election in 2027, expressing confidence that Nigeria would attain greater heights under their stewardship.
