Ibeno LGA witnessed a remarkable display of goodwill and festivity as the Executive Chairman, Hon. Mrs. (Dcns) Glory Ekah Effiong, led a vibrant celebration to mark the 61st birthday anniversary of Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno.
The day began with surprise door-to-door visits across the local government area, where Hon. Effiong distributed a wide range of gifts to residents. Items included wrappers, financial empowerment packages for elderly women, over 350 pairs of school sandals for children, baby essentials for new mothers, and food items for widows and less-privileged families.
The outreach initiative, described by many as a heartfelt gesture, underscored Hon. Effiong’s commitment to community welfare while honoring Governor Eno’s exemplary leadership under the ARISE Agenda. The event, held at the heart of Ibeno, attracted a massive turnout of residents and leaders alike, all eager to partake in the celebration.
