Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, on Sunday worshiped at the All Nations Christian Ministry International (ANCMI) in Eket, where he also served as the homilist during the church service.
Addressing the congregation, the Governor, who is also a cleric, preached on the theme “I Am What I Am by the Grace of God,” drawing from the church’s overarching yearly theme, “Multiplied Grace.”
Reading from 1 Corinthians 15:1-10 and Ephesians 4:7, Pastor Eno emphasized the transformative power of grace, urging Christians to rise above their backgrounds and focus on fulfilling divine purpose.
“Grace is an enabler,” he declared. “Each of us has a unique place in Christ Jesus, and we must not be intimidated by the success of others. Instead, we should seek grace to understand and accomplish God’s purpose for our lives.”
Governor Eno encouraged worshippers to embrace their identity in Christ, stressing that the grace of God can elevate anyone, regardless of the circumstances surrounding their birth or journey in life.
His message was warmly received by the congregation, who appreciated the Governor’s spiritual insight and humility in sharing the Word as both a political and spiritual leader.
