The Lord Almighty is our mighty Defender. He stands as a shield for all who wholeheartedly surrender to Him, walking in spirit and truth. He created all things in heaven and on earth without opposition, and His glory reigns over all. Therefore, hold your peace in faith, stand firm in the Lord, and fear not, for in Him, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).
Do not be deceived by anything that does not glorify God. His eyes are upon the deeds of all men, and nothing is hidden from Him (Hebrews 4:13). Stand boldly against every work of darkness and resist the devil, as James 4:7 commands: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Daily, you must pray and resist every form of satanic deception. Many have made the grievous error of running to witch doctors, spiritualists, and occult groups instead of trusting in Jesus Christ. This is not only a mistake but a great tragedy, for seeking help where there is none is foolishness. The devil has no good intentions—he only comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).
A horse or goat that seeks friendship with a lion will surely be devoured. Likewise, anyone who allies with Satan invites destruction upon themselves. Many who have taken that path never return to tell their story. The enemy will use people without reward, enslaving them in a life of sorrow and affliction. Those who open doors to the devil in times of trouble only worsen their situation, as seen in the lives of many suffering in pain and regret today.
Seeking refuge in Satan is as dangerous as putting one’s hand into the dwelling of a cobra. Those who accept his gifts empower him to take control of their lives. Beware of his deceit, for he is a thief and a cruel taskmaster (John 10:10).
PRAYER POINTS
1. Oh Lord, hide my life in You with the fire of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
2. Oh Lord, be my Defender in all things, and grant me victory by Your mighty power, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
3. Oh Lord, empower me to stand above every satanic scheme and to resist the enemy with holy boldness, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
4. Oh Lord, arise and defend me. Take away from my life anything that would make me surrender to the enemy, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
5. Oh Lord, strengthen me to reject and resist every temptation to bow before the devil, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Child of God, put your faith in Jesus Christ! He will always defend you and scatter every plot of darkness against your life (Psalm 91:14–16).
