“Madman of Opobo” Finds Faith: Street Evangelism Leads to Remarkable Conversion

Opobo, A man long known in the Opobo community as “Victor” and often referred to by locals as “the madman of Opobo” experienced a profound moment of transformation earlier today when he reportedly gave his life to Jesus Christ.

The event occurred during a #Street2Street evangelistic outreach held in the historic town of Jaja of Opobo. The outreach was led by Dr. Moshood Fayemiwo and his evangelistic team.

According to eyewitnesses, the man, who had lived on the streets for years, approached the team during their preaching session. After a brief interaction, he reportedly broke down in tears and accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

Members of the evangelistic squad described the moment as “nothing short of miraculous,” noting that the man’s demeanor changed almost instantly after the prayer.

Dr. Fayemiwo, who heads the #Street2Street Evangelistic Squad, said the team’s mission is to bring hope and salvation to communities across Nigeria, one street at a time.

“We thank God for the power of salvation. What happened today in Opobo is proof that no one is beyond God’s reach,” Dr. Fayemiwo said.

Residents of Jaja of Opobo, a town rich in history and culture, gathered in awe as the event unfolded, with many praising the team for their compassion and dedication.

The #Street2Street campaign continues its tour across Rivers State this week, spreading its message of faith and transformation.
