The Executive Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Abinye Blessing Pepple, has empowered six women entrepreneurs with brand-new deep freezers as part of his administration’s efforts to strengthen small-scale businesses and improve the livelihoods of residents.
The empowerment programme, held on behalf of the Chairman, is in line with his commitment to promoting economic growth and supporting local entrepreneurs, particularly women, through practical interventions that enhance their businesses.

The beneficiaries of the initiative are Augusta Henry Jumbo, Ibene Halliday, Gloria Stephen Pepple, Hope Gift Okolie, Edith Henry Banigo and Rose Briggs.
Presenting the items, the Chairman’s Chief of Staff, Elder Promise Bristol, said the gesture reflects Hon. Pepple’s determination to fulfil his campaign promises by implementing people-oriented programmes that have a direct impact on the lives of Bonny residents.
He urged the beneficiaries to make effective use of the deep freezers to expand their businesses, improve their incomes and contribute to the local economy.
