The International Executive Committee of the Arise with Renewed Hope Initiative has announced the commencement of its Local Government Chapter Executive inaugurations across the 31 Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State.
According to a statement issued on February 18, 2026, by the organisation’s Media and Publicity Directorate, the inauguration exercise will begin on Thursday, February 19, 2026, in line with an approved timetable.
The Committee disclosed that the exercise is part of efforts to strengthen the Initiative’s grassroots presence and consolidate its structure at the local government level. It added that a revised schedule covering all 31 LGAs has been made available to guide the process.
Stakeholders and members of the public across the state have been urged to ensure full participation and cooperation to guarantee a smooth and successful inauguration process.
The Initiative noted that the statewide exercise underscores its commitment to inclusive engagement and effective coordination at the grassroots level.
