Akwa United Secures First Away Win of the Season with 2-0 Victory Over Kwara United

Akwa United Football Club recorded their first away victory of the season with a convincing 2-0 win against Kwara United at the Ilorin Township Stadium.

Goals from Osoba Kabir and Uche Sabastian sealed the much-needed win for the Uyo-based side, lifting the spirits of the Promise Keepers despite their current 19th-place position in the league standings.

Kwara United, ranked 12th before the match, struggled to break through Akwa United’s defense. A crucial moment came when goalkeeper Efala made a brilliant save to deny the home team a goal-bound effort, ensuring a clean sheet for his side.
