NLC Chairman Congratulates Akwa Ibom Police Commissioner, Advocates Stronger Collaboration.

Uyo, The Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Akwa Ibom State Chapter, Comrade (Elder) Sunny James, has extended his congratulations to the Commissioner of Police, CP Baba Mohammed Azare, on his leadership since assuming office at the Akwa Ibom State Police Command.

During a courtesy visit to the State Police Headquarters in Ikot Akpan Abia, Comrade James commended the Commissioner for his efforts in maintaining law and order across the state. He highlighted the critical role of collaboration between the NLC and the Police in fostering peace and security in Akwa Ibom.

“The sustained partnership between the Police Command and the Nigeria Labour Congress has been instrumental in maintaining stability and harmony in the state. We are committed to strengthening this synergy for the benefit of all residents,” the NLC Chairman stated.

 

In his response, CP Baba Mohammed Azare expressed gratitude for the visit and reiterated his commitment to deepening the collaboration with the NLC. He emphasized the importance of effective communication between the Police Command and the public, ensuring access to critical information and assistance for every household.

“The relationship between the Police and the NLC is vital to achieving a safer and more harmonious Akwa Ibom State. We will continue to foster mutual understanding and cooperation,” the Commissioner assured.

The visit ended on a note of unity, with both parties pledging to work together toward a shared vision of peace and progress in the state.
