The wife of the Executive Chairman of Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, Mrs. Etiemama Umoh, has extended a compassionate hand to a widow, Mrs. Idorenyin Emmanuel Asanga, who recently gave birth to triplets but tragically lost her husband shortly after childbirth.

During her visit to the family’s residence in Ikot Udo-Obong, Ekid Itam II, Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Umoh donated essential items, including diapers, foodstuffs, and financial support, to ease the burden on the grieving family. She was accompanied by the Vice Chairman of Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, Comr. Mercy Utu.

Addressing the family, Mrs. Umoh expressed gratitude to God for the safe delivery of the triplets and prayed for divine guidance and protection over the family as they navigate this challenging time.

“I was deeply moved when I heard that an indigene of Ibiono Ibom had given birth to triplets but tragically lost her husband,” Mrs. Umoh said. “In times like this, it is important to show empathy and support to let the family know they are not alone.”

Comr. Mercy Utu also expressed her heartfelt sympathy, offering prayers for the family’s well-being and future.

In her response, Mrs. Asanga expressed profound gratitude for the visit and support from Mrs. Umoh and the local government delegation. “I am truly grateful for this kindness,” she said. “It has reassured me that I am not alone in this difficult journey.”

The visit underscores the importance of communal care and support, especially for vulnerable families within the Ibiono Ibom community.
