The Governor on Sunday worshipped with the congregation of Shepherd’s House Assembly International, Abuja, where he delivered a message titled, “Becoming the Voice of Influence,” urging Christians to embrace their calling as agents of positive change in society through exemplary character and godly leadership.
Speaking during the service, the Governor stressed that genuine influence is not determined by popularity or public acclaim but by the lasting impact individuals make through integrity, selfless service and righteousness. He encouraged believers to remain steadfast as voices of truth in their homes, workplaces and communities.
He also charged parents to be deliberate in raising their children with sound moral and biblical values, noting that the future of society depends largely on the quality of leadership and character instilled in the younger generation. According to him, families remain the first foundation for nurturing responsibility and God-fearing citizens.
The Governor further called on the Church to sustain its role in mentoring and equipping young people with wisdom, humility and a sense of purpose, expressing confidence that a generation grounded in godly principles would provide the ethical and visionary leadership needed to transform the nation.
