UYO, The stage is set for a historic celebration in Akwa Ibom State as newspaper publishers under the umbrella of Association of Newspaper Publishers, Akwa Ibom (ANPA), gear up for the inaugural edition of ANPA Week, scheduled to hold from Sunday, November 9 to Thursday, November 13, 2025.
This landmark event marks the first time the state’s media professionals will unite in such a grand showcase, and it is expected to draw national and international attention to Uyo, the state capital.
ANPA Week will feature a range of activities aimed at highlighting the critical role of newspaper publishing in democracy, development, and civic engagement. It will also provide a platform to celebrate the contributions of media practitioners and to foster greater collaboration among stakeholders in the media, government, civil society, and the private sector.
With a packed calendar of events and widespread participation, ANPA Week promises to be a defining moment for the media industry in Akwa Ibom State.
