Nigeria, One of Nigeria’s most revered Christian leaders, Rev. (Dr) Uma Ukpai, has passed on at the age of 80, leaving behind a profound spiritual legacy that has touched countless lives across the globe.
Rev. Ukpai, the founder and president of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, was widely known for his unwavering dedication to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, healing crusades, and empowering believers through faith and education. His ministry spanned decades, marked by powerful evangelistic outreaches that brought many souls to Christ.
Born in 1945, Rev. Ukpai rose from humble beginnings to become a towering figure in Christian ministry, not just in Nigeria but internationally. Through his association, conferences, and writings, he inspired millions with his teachings on faith, divine healing, and purposeful living.
He was also a strong advocate for national unity, social justice, and spiritual revival in Nigeria, often using his platform to call for peace, righteousness, and transformation in all sectors of society.
Rev. Ukpai’s life was a testimony of fruitfulness and service. He lived for Christ and led many to do the same. His voice, though now silent, continues to echo through the lives he touched and the legacies he established, unforgettable and enduring.
He is survived by his family, ministry team, and a global community of believers who mourn his loss but celebrate a life well lived in the service of God and humanity.
