Eket, In celebration of his 50th birthday, Hon. Frank Archibong, through the Archibong Udo Foundation (AUF), has flagged off a 5-day free medical and surgical outreach at Immanuel General Hospital, Eket.
The programme, which commenced on Monday, August 18, 2025, and will run until Friday, August 22, 2025, is the second edition of the humanitarian initiative targeted at providing quality healthcare to the less privileged.
According to the organisers, the outreach is being held in partnership with Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda and underscores Archibong’s commitment to philanthropy and community development.
Available services include patient counseling, adult and pediatric consultations, dental care and procedures, optometry and eye care, laboratory investigations, and surgeries. All services are being rendered free of charge and on a first-come, first-served basis.
Speaking on the initiative, Mkpisong Archibong noted that the outreach reflects his lifelong passion for giving back to society, especially in the area of healthcare for the vulnerable.
Residents of Eket and surrounding communities are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity by visiting Immanuel General Hospital from 8:00 a.m. daily throughout the duration of the outreach.
