Minister of State for Petroleum (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, will achieve resounding victories in their political endeavours come 2027.
Speaking at a meeting with party faithful, Ekpo likened the trio’s current political momentum to “hitting a home run” in baseball, a sporting term for an unstoppable performance. He assured supporters that the leaders’ developmental strides and people-oriented policies would guarantee their widespread acceptance at the polls.
According to him, the unity of purpose among the political leadership at the federal, national, and state levels is translating into tangible benefits for citizens, reinforcing the ruling party’s electoral strength ahead of the next general elections.
Ekpo urged the party structure to remain committed and mobilised, stressing that consistent grassroots engagement will be the key to sustaining the winning streak.
