Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has embarked on a series of strategic stakeholder engagements aimed at solidifying the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, following his recent defection to the party.
The initiative is designed to consolidate political structures, foster unity among party members, and energize grassroots support. As the newly designated leader of the APC in Akwa Ibom, Governor Eno is spearheading an ambitious roadmap that includes a sequence of high-level consultations aligned with the ARISE Agenda’s development vision.
According to a statement issued by the APC State Chairman, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, the schedule of activities includes:
Friday, July 11 – Meeting with Party Structure at 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday, July 15 – Stakeholders’ Meeting at 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, July 30 – Official Visit to the APC State Secretariat
“These activities transcend ceremonial gestures; they are strategic efforts to rebuild trust, foster internal cohesion, and align the party for effective political mobilization ahead of future electoral contests,” Ntukekpo stated.
He emphasized the need for collective loyalty and support for the party’s leadership at all levels, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Governor Umo Eno.
Formal invitations for each engagement, the chairman added, will be extended to relevant stakeholders in due course.
