Dr. D.K. Olukoya Honoured with NACJ’s Integrity Cleric of the Year Award

The Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists (NACJ) has named Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, Founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), as the recipient of its 2025 Most Outstanding Integrity Man of God Award.

In a statement signed by NACJ National President, Dr. Charles Okhai, the selection followed a rigorous evaluation of five eminent nominees for this year’s coveted Integrity Award, a central highlight of the forthcoming Annual Integrity Lecture and Awards Conference.

Dr. Okhai noted that Dr. Olukoya was chosen for his exemplary record of integrity and unwavering adherence to biblical values in his decades of Christian ministry. “His commitment to Kingdom principles and his consistent moral posture in leadership make him not only deserving but a symbol of hope in spiritual governance,” Okhai said.

A scientist by training, Dr. Olukoya holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Reading, UK, and graduated with First Class honours in Microbiology from the University of Lagos in 1980. Renowned as a spiritual mentor, prolific author, and advocate of deliverance and prayer warfare, his ministry has reportedly led millions to Christ, with significant global impact.

Beyond his theological work, Dr. Olukoya is known as a counselor, prophetic voice, and healing evangelist whose teachings have transformed lives across age groups and cultures. He remains a respected voice within Nigeria’s religious landscape.

The NACJ Integrity Lecture and Awards Conference seeks to foster a culture of patriotic and ethical leadership across sectors. According to Dr. Okhai, the initiative underscores the urgent need to “build a mentally integrity-conscious society,” arguing that national progress is deeply tied to the moral quality of its leadership.

This year’s event will honour leaders who have demonstrated uncommon integrity and national commitment, reinforcing NACJ’s vision of ethical renewal in Nigerian public and spiritual life.
