Message: HE IS RISEN

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”, Matthew 28:6 (NKJV)

Today, Christians around the world echo the ancient, victorious cry: “He is risen!” These three words are the foundation of our faith, the heartbeat of our hope, and the loudest declaration of divine love ever spoken. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just a historical event, it is the spiritual anchor of redemption for humanity.

The empty tomb in Jerusalem testifies to a risen Savior who conquered death and stripped the grave of its sting. In 1 Corinthians 15:17, Apostle Paul writes, “And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!” But thanks be to God, our faith is not futile, because He lives, we also shall live (John 14:19).

The resurrection means we are no longer prisoners to sin, fear, or shame. It affirms that every promise of God is yes and amen in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). It means hope is alive, mercy is flowing, and grace is available to all who will believe. It reminds us that no matter the darkness of Friday or the silence of Saturday, Sunday always comes, and with it, new life, new power, and a new beginning.

In these challenging times, the message of Easter calls us to rise above despair. Just as the stone was rolled away, so too can God roll away every burden, barrier, or brokenness in our lives. He is not in the grave, He is alive and with us!

So today, let us not only proclaim “He is risen,” but live like we believe it. Let the joy of the resurrection shine through our words, our actions, and our service to humanity. Let us share the good news that in Christ, death is defeated, love has triumphed, and life eternal is ours.

Christ is risen indeed, Hallelujah!
