The Managing Director of Ubotex Nigeria Limited, Elder Ubong Obot, has emerged as one of the top honorees at the 2024 Lafarge Africa PLC Customer and Transporter Awards.
Elder Obot clinched the prestigious 2nd Runner-Up National Volume Award, earning him a brand new 2025 Toyota RAV4 in recognition of his exceptional performance and loyalty to the Lafarge brand.
The award ceremony, held on Friday, April 4, 2025, brought together top-performing customers and transporters from across the country to celebrate excellence in business partnership with the cement giant.
The night’s highest honour—the National Volume Champion Award was presented to Etim Okon of Batoframoj E. Enterprises, who drove home in a 2025 Toyota Prado. The 1st Runner-Up prize went to Igwe Ezeumeh Cosmas Chizoba of C.C. Umeh & Sons Ltd., who received a 2025 Toyota Fortuner.
In the transporter category, Olayiwola Kazeem of Kaysky Nigeria Limited was crowned the Best Overall Transporter of the Year. Julius Ben Construction and Abdlas Logistics Nigeria Limited also received accolades as regional champions for the East and West zones, respectively.
Beyond the top prizes, the event featured a variety of rewards including 2025 Hyundai SUVs, power generators, bags of cement, and other valuable gifts, making the occasion a memorable night of celebration and appreciation.
The annual event reflects Lafarge Africa’s commitment to rewarding excellence, encouraging loyalty, and strengthening partnerships with its stakeholders.
