The Ekid People’s Union (EPU) has expressed gratitude to Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency Umo Eno, PhD, for appointing three illustrious sons of Ekid Nation into the State Executive Council.
In a congratulatory message signed by its President General, Dr. Samuel Udonsak, and National Secretary, Hon. (Barr) Bassey Dan Abia, the Union praised the governor’s decision, describing the appointees, Hon. Frank Archibong, Rt. Hon. Iniobong Robson, and Mr. Paul Bassey, as worthy ambassadors of Ekid Nation.
For Mkpisong Frank Archibong, the EPU hailed his reappointment, noting that his “meteoric political elevations” reflect his hard work, resilience, and loyalty. The Union also commended Governor Eno for recognizing his capabilities and entrusting him with additional responsibilities as Dean of Commissioners.

Rt. Hon. Iniobong Robson was described as a dedicated leader whose appointment is a testament to his administrative acumen, especially during his tenure as ALGON Chairman and Executive Chairman of Esit Eket Local Government Area. The Union acknowledged his patriotism and perseverance, expressing confidence in his ability to excel in his new role.
Paul Bassey, a renowned sports administrator, was celebrated for his contributions to Nigerian sports, particularly his efforts in organizing and managing the National Mobil Athletic Sports Competition in Akwa Ibom State. The Union applauded his appointment, emphasizing that it reflects Governor Eno’s commitment to assembling a competent team to drive the ARISE Agenda.
The EPU urged Ekid people to rally behind Governor Eno’s administration, ensuring that his newly inaugurated team succeeds in delivering democratic dividends for the benefit of Akwa Ibom State.
