It was a moment of gratitude and celebration as members of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Mbikpong Ikot Edim District gathered to bid farewell to Pastor and Deaconess A.O. Umoh, who have been transferred to a new station. The send-forth service, attended by family, friends, church faithful, and well-wishers, was filled with praise, prayers, and appreciation for the departing ministers’ impactful service in God’s vineyard.
Among the dignitaries present was Lady Helen Eno Obareki, the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, who led a delegation of government officials to honor the clergyman and his wife.
In her remarks, Lady Obareki described Pastor Aniedi Umoh as a true prophet of God whose ministry has had a profound impact on her spiritual life and that of her family. She emphasized how her encounter with the pastor had deepened her commitment to prayer and faith
“There is no way I would have turned down this invitation to honor Pastor Umoh and his wife. Though I have known them for only a short time, their impact on my life has been enormous. I have prayed more because of Pastor A.O. Umoh, and it has been a truly transformative experience,” she said.
Lady Obareki also used the occasion to encourage Christians to cultivate a prayerful life, stressing the importance of worshiping God in spirit and in truth. Additionally, she informed the congregation about the upcoming GIFA (Golden Initiative for All) first-year anniversary, extending an invitation to members of The Apostolic Church to join in the celebrations.
The service featured uplifting praise sessions and the presentation of financial support to Pastor and Deaconess A.O. Umoh as they prepared to resume their new assignment at The Apostolic Church, 69 Oron Road, Uyo.
