The attention of the human race has been called to the numerous sins and atrocities that are being carried out among them, and the wrath.of God that will eventually befall them if they do not repent from their evil ways and ask for God’s mercy.
This was the position of Pastor Lazarus Muoka, General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, while delivering his message to worshippers during the church’s two-day international crusade, tagged, “From Sorrow to Joy”, held recently at the Chosen Revival Ground, Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, Ijesha, Lagos.
Muoka said that just like in the time of Noah and Lot, God would destroy humanity again because the people of this generation had provoked the Lord more than any other.
He asked the people to examine their lives, amend their ways and turn to God, adding that God could not tolerate sin nor unrighteousness from His creatures.
Said he: “God will not allow any iota of sin because He is a righteous God. He is a Holy God. The people of this generation have provoked the Lord our heavenly father more than any other generation or people ever created, more than the time of Noah, more than the time of Lot”.
He said the people had come to the point of begging for instant anger and judgement of God to come upon them as abominable acts of various kinds were being legalised by governments of nations in the world.
Said he: “In our very eyes all over the world, abominable acts are being legalised. That means you can practice it, no problem. And as a result of that, they are begging for destruction. They are begging for the judgement of God.
.
“Sin is being committed to the point that the nations will sit together and legalise prostitution. You can encourage somebody to go and do that business, and you give them license and say these are prostitutes recognised by government. Imagine a generation where they have legalised homosexuality; a man can now marry a man, a woman can now marry a woman and they begin to live as husband and wife and commit sodomy, lesbianism which was prohibited by God almighty from the beginning.
“Church people can now wed a man and a man in many places because the government has given them license to do so, contrary to the word of God. And this was the wickedness that made God to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, now it’s legalised in many parts of the world. They have provoked God, the Holy one to anger, begging for destruction.
“God will destroy humanity again. God is very, very angry and will judge sinners, and will judge nations, and will judge this generation, and their judgement will be terrible. And if you are part of them that is adamant, you have bought the gospel of satan and you don’t see anything evil with evil, and you take pleasure in it, God will judge you”.
The GO called on the people and government of nations to repent and stop legalising abortion and other atrocious acts if they wanted peace, prosperity and other blessings of God in the world
Observed he: “They want an economic boost in the world. They are joking. Everyday, millions of children are being killed, and the blood of these innocent children are crying for God’s vengeance”.
He said the crises being experienced around the world were signs of the beginning of sorrow humans were bringing to themselves because of their sinful ways.
Said he: “There is crisis in Europe, crisis in Africa, crisis in America, crisis everywhere. They want to manage crisis, they are joking. They want economic boost, they are joking. These signs are the beginning of sorrow.
“Whenever the world turns away from God, Whenever the the kings and rulers of the people of any generation depart from God, God will threaten punishment and He will surely judge that generation or nation or kings or rulers. God will judge them if they refuse to repernt”.
Said he in the theme of the crusade: “So many people in the Bible and in the present day have gone through many sorrows in one area or the other in their lives as a result of what the enemy has done in their life but thank God you are here today to encounter your source of deliverance”.
He urged those experiencing any form of sorrow to seek the Lord and cry unto Him, and He would deliver them, and their sorrows would be turned to joy.
Said he: “If you know the Lord, you will call upon Him, and no matter the things that cause you sorrow, the Lord will deliver you and you will give Him praises, and you will testify in Jesus’ name”.
The programme featured deliverance and testimony sessions, as worshippers who came with various conditions received their healing and intervention of God at the ministration of the man of God.
