The ARISE With Renewed Hope Initiative has commended the peaceful conduct of the Chapter Congress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the 31 local government areas of Akwa Ibom State.
In a statement issued by its Media and Publicity Directorate, the group described the successful exercise as a clear demonstration of the party’s strengthening democratic structures and internal cohesion ahead of future electoral contests.
According to the Initiative, the orderly conduct of the congress consolidates the foundation of the ruling party in the state and reinforces ongoing efforts to sustain the development strides associated with the ARISE Agenda of Umo Eno.
The group noted that the level of unity recorded across all local government areas was commendable and expressed confidence that the renewed harmony within party ranks would translate into overwhelming victories for the APC in subsequent general elections in the state.
It further lauded the Akwa Ibom State Congress Organising Committee for what it described as exemplary coordination of the process. Special commendation was given to the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, who also serves as Secretary of the group’s Board of Trustees, for his leadership role in ensuring a seamless exercise.
Reaffirming its political stance, the Initiative declared continued support for Bola Tinubu, Godswill Akpabio, and Governor Eno, expressing optimism that sustained unity would strengthen the party’s electoral prospects through 2031.
The statement concluded with a call for continued solidarity among party faithful as preparations gradually build toward the next general elections.
