Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has opened up about an incident from his younger years, alleging that he was once paid to participate in a staged miracle during a church service.
Solade, while recounting the experience, said he was approached and asked to pretend that he had a physical disability as part of a supposed healing testimony.
According to the veteran actor, he agreed to play the role and received payment for his participation in the alleged staged miracle.
He disclosed that, after receiving the money, he spent it on drinks, apparently without considering the broader implications of his involvement in the incident.
The revelation has sparked renewed discussion about the authenticity of some miracle claims presented in religious gatherings and the need for greater scrutiny of testimonies portrayed as supernatural interventions.
