NYSC DG Charges 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members to Uphold Service Ideals

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has called on Corps Members to uphold the Scheme’s core values as they begin their service year.

Addressing the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members currently undergoing Orientation Course in Rivers State, Nafiu urged them to embrace patriotism, integrity, efficiency, transparency, and commitment, noting that these virtues should guide them throughout their service and in future endeavors.

He stressed the importance of teamwork, encouraging the Corps Members to see themselves as one unified family regardless of their backgrounds. According to him, the NYSC platform offers young Nigerians a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to national development.

The Director-General also commended the Corps Members for responding to the call to serve, applauding their readiness to contribute to the nation’s growth.

Earlier, the NYSC Rivers State Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe, briefed the Director-General on the camp’s progress, reporting that the 2,586 Corps Members in the Orientation Camp had shown commendable levels of discipline, patriotism, and dedication.
