Former U.S. President Donald J. Trump broke the news, asserting that both nations had agreed to halt hostilities. While the international community awaits official confirmation from Tehran and Tel Aviv, Trump’s announcement is being received with cautious optimism.
As calm begins to return, both countries have commenced damage assessment following days of intense military exchanges. The global community, deeply unsettled by the rapid escalation, now turns to the hope that this fragile peace will hold, at least for a while.
