Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has lauded maritime law expert and distinguished lawyer, Mrs. Mfon Ekong Usoro, for authoring a seminal work expected to shape the discourse and practice of international trade.
Speaking during the public presentation of the book, International Trade & Carriage of Goods by Sea: Texts, Cases & Materials, Governor Eno described Mrs. Usoro as an illustrious daughter of Akwa Ibom State whose professional accomplishments and integrity serve as an inspiration to many.
The high-profile launch attracted dignitaries from across Nigeria’s legal, business, and public sectors, including the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun; former Governor Deacon Udom Emmanuel and his wife, Martha; Africa’s leading industrialist, Alhaji Aliko Dangote; Senator Udoma Udo Udoma and his wife, Sally; Gen. Ike Nwachukwu (Retd.); Engr. Uwem Okoko, and an array of respected professionals from the transport and legal communities.
