LET US REFLECT:

“If you see the poor oppressed in a district, and justice and rights denied, do not be surprised at such things; for one official is eyed by a higher one, and over them both are others higher still.”
In every sphere of our society, be it government, religion, or the corporate world, injustice festers like a silent plague. The powerful conceal their wrongs while the powerless are made scapegoats.
I write not only as an observer but as one affected. Despite being one of the most qualified journalists consistently promoting government activities, I have been unjustly denied my monthly stipends for over three months. The very colleagues I once trusted chose silence over solidarity, revealing hearts not circumcised by truth but hardened by politics and power.
This painful reality mirrors the moral decay in our institutions, where truth is punished and wrongdoers are shielded. But God’s Word remains a mirror and a sword, exposing, judging, and calling all to account. This message is a wake-up call for leaders and followers alike to reflect on the kind of justice they represent.
Isaiah 10:1-2 (KJV): A divine warning to those who craft unjust laws to oppress the helpless.
James 2:1-4 (NIV): A rebuke against favoritism and discrimination in the community of believers.
THE MESSAGE:
God never ordained leadership as a weapon of oppression or a cloak for wrongdoing. Righteousness, humility, and accountability are the pillars of true leadership. When these crumble, the entire system collapses, whether in the palace, pulpit, unionism or pressroom.
Yet, there is hope. If we repent, speak truth, and act justly, we mirror God’s heart and restore justice in our midst.
Beloved, In 2 Samuel 11, King David misused his authority to cover his sin by orchestrating Uriah’s death. Yet God sent Nathan to confront him. David’s repentance reminds us that even leaders can return to the path of righteousness when they humble themselves before God.
Know that, “Power is a mirror; it shows whether we serve ourselves or serve God.”
Just a moment! Do I stand for truth even when it costs me, or do I remain silent when justice is perverted?
Beloved, Use your influence to uphold justice and truth.
Speak up and take a stand when the innocent are wronged.
PRAYER POINTS:
Lord, thank You for being a righteous Judge who sees and knows all things.
Thank You for the gift of truth and the grace to live in integrity.
Lord, expose every hidden injustice around me and give me courage to speak boldly.
Raise up godly leaders in every sphere who fear You and serve with clean hands and pure hearts.
I am a voice for truth and a vessel of justice in my generation.
By God’s grace, I will not wear the crooked crown of injustice but the crown of righteousness.
