Akwa Ibom State Police Command has dismantled an illegal maternity home allegedly engaged in child trafficking, unlawful medical practice, and impersonation in Usung Atiat, Abak Local Government Area.
Acting on credible intelligence, police operatives stormed the facility and arrested Patience Ene Jimmy, who was found harboring seven pregnant women and five infants, aged between two weeks and one year.
