The Managing Director of Ubotex Limited, Elder Ubong Obot, has urged worshippers and the people of Akwa Ibom State to always interact with others with the awareness that they may cross paths again in the future. He emphasized that nothing in life is permanent, and actions today could have consequences tomorrow.
Elder Obot delivered this message while preaching at The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ikot Ntuen Oku Area Headquarters in Uyo. Drawing insights from Genesis 37:18-28, he recounted the story of Joseph, whose brothers mistreated him without realizing they would later need his help. Similarly, he referenced the biblical account of the rich man and Lazarus, where a reversal of roles played out in the afterlife.
Expressing concern over the behavior of some leaders and those in authority, Elder Obot warned against arrogance and mistreatment of others, noting that power and positions are temporary.
“Wherever you find yourself today, remember that you will not be there forever. The person you despise today could become your benefactor tomorrow. Life has a way of bringing people back together, and whatever you sow, you will surely reap,” he cautioned.
He prayed for divine guidance to help believers treat others with kindness, ensuring that their future and that of their children would be blessed.
The service featured praise and worship, choir ministration, a witness rally, and special prayers. A highlight of the event was the dedication of the newly renovated church fence and gate.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were Apostle Ebong, the Area Superintendent; Apostle Eduok, a retired Deputy Field Superintendent; District Pastor Ntuk, and their spouses.
