The IGP also approved deployments to several strategic formations, including the Force Intelligence Department, INTERPOL, Force Criminal Investigation Department, Counter Terrorism Unit, Department of Finance and Administration, Department of Training and Development, Police Staff College, Police Academy and Anti-Human Trafficking units, among others.
Disu charged the affected senior officers to bring their wealth of experience to bear in their new assignments by strengthening intelligence-led policing, improving operational effectiveness, promoting professionalism and deepening community engagement. He urged them to remain committed to protecting lives and property while maintaining the highest standards of discipline, accountability and service delivery.
According to the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu, the Nigeria Police Force remains committed to strategic personnel deployment as a critical component of its ongoing reforms. The initiative, he said, is expected to enhance operational efficiency, build internal capacity and strengthen the delivery of effective policing services to Nigerians.
