IniAbasi Ekanem Takes Over As 12th International President Of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio

The newly elected International Executive Council of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio is set to be sworn into office today (Friday), marking the commencement of a four-year tenure for the leadership of the foremost socio-cultural organisation.

The inauguration signals the beginning of a new administration expected to advance the group’s objectives of promoting unity, cultural heritage and development among the Ibibio people.

Akparawa IniAbasi Ekanem emerged as the 12th International President following the organisation’s election, succeeding the immediate past leadership. He will work alongside other elected officials, including Akparawa Jimaimah Essien as Vice President I, Akparawa Fiokidaha Umoh as Vice President II, Akparawa John Offiong as Secretary General and Akparawa-Anwan Eme Sambo as Deputy Secretary General.

Other members of the newly inaugurated executive are Akparawa Idongesit Ikono as Public Relations Officer, Akparawa Essien Essien as Treasurer, Akparawa Victor Edet as Financial Secretary, Akparawa Augustine Udoh as Auditor, Akparawa Stephen Abia as Legal Adviser, Akparawa-Anwan Alice Udoh as Women Leader, Akparawa Asuquo Umoh as Welfare Officer and Akparawa Emmanuel Ekpa as Provost.

The new executive is expected to steer the affairs of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio over the next four years while strengthening the organisation’s role in preserving Ibibio culture and fostering socio-economic development.
