According to report by The Nation on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday united Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and other political leaders under the Rainbow Coalition as they declared support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
The declaration was made in Port Harcourt during the unveiling of candidates backed by the coalition.
Wike urged members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), regardless of their political affiliations, to support Tinubu and work together toward a common political objective.
