Solomon Okpo is a seasoned journalist, publisher, and development communication specialist with over 38 years of extensive experience in Nigeria’s media industry.
He is the Publisher of The Evangelist Newspapers, a platform he founded in 2007 to advance credible journalism and public interest reporting.
He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Printing Technology from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, and a Diploma in Mass Communication from the Nigeria Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Lagos. He further obtained a Master’s degree in Security and Industrial Relations from the University of Ibadan.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Okpo has worked with several reputable media organizations, including the Nigerian Chronicle (Calabar), Daily Champion, National Interest, Post Express, Diet Newspaper and Pioneer Newspaper.
