Uyo, In a renewed push toward sustainable development and clean energy solutions, ZubGo Projects and Consulting Limited has announced plans to introduce advanced renewable power generation systems in Akwa Ibom State, in partnership with international experts.
Speaking during a live interview on Comfort FM, Uyo, the company’s Managing Director and multi-disciplinary consultant, Essentia Essien, highlighted the firm’s vision to transform river-water resources into reliable sources of electricity through innovative technology. His presentation, titled “Advanced River-water Power Generation,” outlined a blueprint for harnessing renewable energy to meet Nigeria’s growing power demands while promoting environmental sustainability.
The company media consultant, Solomon OKPO who led the company’s delegation alongside Elder Etukudo Essien, Executive Director of ZubGo Projects and Consulting Limited, emphasized that the collaboration between ZubGo Consulting Projects Ltd and Zoetic Global is aimed at delivering a long-term, clean energy solution that can provide stable power and clean drinking water for communities across Akwa Ibom and beyond.
According to the team, the proposed renewable energy project in Akwa Ibom will focus on hydro-based river-water generation systems with a significant capacity to serve both residential and industrial needs. The project is part of a broader 18-month program designed to provide practical energy solutions, train local engineers, and strengthen the state’s technical capacity in renewable energy management.
Elder Etukudo Essien explained that ZubGo intends to work closely with the Akwa Ibom State Government to integrate the project into existing energy frameworks, ensuring that the benefits reach rural and urban areas alike. “Our goal is to create a partnership that empowers local communities and delivers sustainable, homegrown solutions to power instability,” he said.
ZubGo’s subsidiary, ZubGo EV Nigeria Limited, is also taking steps to promote a carbon-free environment through the development of electric vehicle infrastructure and eco-friendly transportation options across Nigeria.
The team recently attended the Clean Energy Conference at the Ibom e-Library in Uyo, where they reaffirmed their commitment to bringing in foreign technical partners to provide what they described as a “permanent solution to Nigeria’s electricity challenges.”
