In a bid to promote educational advancement in Itu, Hon. Bassey Archibong, Special Assistant to the Governor on Protocol, has fully sponsored 50 JAMB forms and Computer-Based Test (CBT) training for students across various wards in the local government area.

This initiative aligns with the ARISE Agenda championed by His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, which prioritizes education as a tool for empowerment and development across Akwa Ibom State. Hon. Archibong reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that young minds in Itu have access to opportunities that will shape their academic and professional future.

By covering the cost of JAMB registration and providing essential CBT training, the initiative eases the financial burden on parents while equipping students with the necessary skills to navigate the digital-based examination system. The training is expected to enhance their confidence and readiness for higher education.

The gesture has been widely applauded as a demonstration of selfless leadership. Many in Itu have hailed Hon. Archibong for investing in the future of young people, emphasizing that such efforts will produce the next generation of leaders in the community.

“If more of the governor’s aides emulate this, the impact on our youths and the state’s educational growth will be immeasurable,” a community leader remarked.

With this laudable initiative, Hon. Archibong has set an example of leadership that prioritizes education as a fundamental tool for progress. Beneficiaries and their families have expressed gratitude, seeing this as a stepping stone toward achieving their academic aspirations.
